Description – Application
The INDUSTRIAL COIN Bluetooth®-IT003 BEACON is compatible with Bluetooth® 5.0 standard and it is designed to full fill all requirements for asset tracking in hospitals, healthcare, logistics, item management use cases.
Thanks to its ultra-low power consumption, the beacon guaranties un-surpassed battery lifetimes up to 5 years. Its high precision accelerometer sensor permits to detect any movements, vibrations, shocks or a specific fall. The accelerometer parameters are configurable in order to adjust them to the final needs of the application.
All beacon configuration parameters can be updated over-the-air through a specific profile service. A secure operational mode is also available and based on an AES-128 crypto algorithm. A secure operational mode is also available and based on an AES-128 crypto algorithm.
In a diameter of only 29mm, the beacon is equipped with a push button and two LEDs (red and green color).
Company logos, QR codes, MAC address or serial numbers could be printed on the upper side of the device.
An optional NFC function can be added in order to provide extra information on the asset (Manual, Last date of maintenance, Location) and/or easy pairing function.
